Terms of service — agentwares

Last updated 7 October 2026.

Plain language on purpose. If something here is unclear, assume the reading that is more favourable to you and tell us.

Who we are

agentwares is a line of software products for AI-native companies and the agents they run, operated by TrainedBooks, an independent software business in California, United States, which operates the agentwares products.

These terms cover this site, https://agentwares.vercel.app: its pages, the numbers it publishes and its contact form. You can reach a human at https://agentwares.vercel.app/contact.

Each product has its own terms

Every hosted product publishes its own terms and privacy note, and every paid one its refund policy. For a product, its own pages are the ones that apply; where they differ from this page, they win.

Software you run yourself

Software you install and run yourself — the agentguard CLI and SDK, agentsmd-lint, the overnight kit and the other repositories at https://github.com/agentwares — is licensed under the licence in its repository, and these terms do not narrow it. When such a tool talks to one of our hosted services because you connected it, that service's own terms and privacy note apply.

Automated clients are welcome

You may read this site and write to us through its contact form from an agent or a script, with no human present. The form also accepts JSON, described at https://agentwares.vercel.app/llms.txt, and limits how many messages one sender can send in a day.

What we do not promise

This site is provided as is, without warranty. The numbers it publishes are measurements with their dates and margins stated, not forecasts, and they can be wrong.

Nothing on it is professional advice — not legal, financial, investment, tax or engineering advice.

This site is free, so to the extent the law allows we are not liable for any loss that comes from using it or from relying on what it says.

Changes and disputes

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and a change applies only to use after it.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Before anything formal, write to us at https://agentwares.vercel.app/contact — most things are a misunderstanding and we would rather just fix it.
